HSS

High Speed Steel or HSS represents a group of alloyed tool steels that stand out with high hardness, tempering resistance, wear resistance and high temperature stability up to 600°C.

FM

Typical features of full metal are extremely high hardness, wear resistance and its particularly high temperature stability. Full metal is mainly used in the equipping of tools and parts for machining, chipless forming and abrasive wear.

CBN

Cubic boron nitride is a compound of boron and nitrogen and its hardness is only surpassed by diamond. Tools made from CBN stand out with their enormous wear resistance.

PCD

Synthetic diamond is a synthetically produced mass of diamond crystals created through sintering (a procedure to produce materials) at very high temperatures and under high pressure. PCD is extremely hard and wear resistant.

CVD

Diamond created in gaseous phase, the hardest material; a type of monocrystalline diamond without binder.
